We don’t just fill shifts

We don’t just find someone who’s available. We find someone who fits.

Participants should have real choice over who enters their home and spends time with them. That’s not a nice-to-have - it’s the whole point.

01

Tell us about you

We learn about your support needs, personality, interests, routine and what you're actually looking for.

02

We find your people

We look at our team and identify support workers who could genuinely be a good match.

03

You choose

Meet them first. Ask questions. Decide whether it feels right. No pressure, no obligation.

04

We keep checking in

Support shouldn't become set and forget. Our team stays involved, every step.

No right person? No match. We won’t take on a referral we can’t staff properly — we’d rather run another recruitment round until we do.

What we’ve tried to fix

We researched what people hated about their support work. Then we built around it.

Support work isn’t broken because people don’t care. It’s broken because it’s usually run by managers who don’t understand disability from a clinical and personal experience — and therefore don’t train their staff accordingly.

Random support workers you've never met turning up at the door

Participant matching. You meet them before anything is locked in.

No one answering the phone. Ever.

Responsive local management. Actual humans, nearby.

Support workers becoming 'friends' instead of professionals

Clear boundaries, training and oversight - kindness with structure.

Being left scrambling when something goes wrong

After-hours support when things don't go to plan.

Participants feeling like a roster number

A management team that actually knows who you are.

Sound familiar?

There’s a better way to do this.

Our support workers

Meet some genuinely good humans.

Real people, real interests, real boundaries. Every worker is screened, trained and — just as importantly — someone we’d happily have in our own homes.

About NND

Built because support work deserved better.

NND Supports was created because we believed support work could be done better — and we’d seen what happened when it wasn’t.

Founder Bronte also leads our allied health sister company, Nourished Not Deprived — more than 6,000 participants helped in 4.5 years. With two parents with disability, she knows firsthand the difference proper support makes.

And this is the part of the group built around one stubborn idea: a management team should actually know the people it supports. Not their plan number. Them.
