About NND
We started NND Supports because support work deserved better.
Part of the broader NND group — but built around one stubborn idea: good support is a relationship, not a roster.

Proudly female-founded
Our story
NND Supports exists for a simple reason: we kept meeting participants who’d been through five, six, seven support workers in a year. Not because the workers were bad — because nobody had taken the time to make a good match.
So we built the company we kept wishing existed. Founded by Bronte, NND Supports sits alongside her allied health sister company, Nourished Not Deprived — the team that has helped more than 6,000 participants in the four and a half years since it began. Everything both companies know about quality and responsiveness is pointed at one thing here: genuinely knowing the people we support.
This isn’t an industry Bronte wandered into. With two parents with disability, she grew up seeing from the inside exactly what a difference proper healthcare and the right support make — and how quickly things unravel when you don’t have them. That lived experience is why “good enough” has never been the standard at NND.
That means matching participants and workers on who they actually are, not just who’s free on a Tuesday. It means answering the phone. It means training and oversight so our workers are warm and professional — not one or the other. And it means our management team knows every participant by name, and there’s someone to call after hours when things don’t go to plan.
And because good support work needs more than good intentions, every one of our workers is backed by occupational therapists at our sister company, Nourished Not Deprived.
Support work, done properly. That’s not a slogan — it’s the standard we hold ourselves to every single week.
What we’re stubborn about
The match matters
Personality, interests, experience and location — weighed before a single shift is booked.
Talk like humans
Real people answer the phone. If something's not right, you say it once and it gets fixed.
Boundaries are kindness
Warmth and professionalism aren't opposites. Our workers are trained to hold both.
We know your name
Our management team knows every participant personally — not as a line on a roster.
